Glovebox Technology
for Glovebox Integrated Welding
MBRAUN offers a comprehensive
program of inert gas components for welding applications.
This program comprises special welding boxes for resistance
welding, TIG welding, laser welding with laser protective
vitrification, plasma welding boxes with nitrogen-free
argon atmosphere, special feedthroughs for all necessary
supply lines, particle suction units with continuously
active separation, plasma welding heads among others for
fusing off quartz glass when manufacturing metal halogenide
lamps (MHL).

systems for oxygen-free and moisture-free TIG welding.
As titanium is very reactive during welding with
either oxygen, moisture or nitrogen the welding
procedure is much easier in a MBRAUN
glovebox. The operator does not need to worry about
protecting the welding spot or the welding seam.
Everything is protected by the argon in the glovebox.

Welding in a MBRAUN
